A few weeks ago I wrote about Ghana and that the Official web site of the Ghanaian Government uses Joomla.

That's made it quite hard to find a good entry for the Joomla World Cup to represent Ghana.

Kumasi.info is the regional news portal for the Ashanti region of Ghana, where Kumasi is the capital city.

Kumasi is at the heart of Ashanti country and the site of West Africa's largest cultural center, the palace of the Ashanti king and the home of the Golden Stool.

Kumasi.info uses a wide variety of Joomla extensions to serve it's readers including Mosets Tree, Hot Property and JoomGallery.

This blog post is part of a series during the World Cup aiming to highlight the wide spread of joomla across the world.

About Brian Teeman

  • As a co-founder of Joomla! and OpenSourceMatters Inc I've never been known to be lacking an opinion or being too afraid to express it.

Despite what some people might think I'm a shy and modest man who doesnt like to blow his own trumpet or boast about achievements.

But it seems that no blog exists without an "About" page so rather than talk about what an amazingly great guy I am and list all the things I've achieved (and failed at) in life from my Cycling Proficiency Test in 1976 to winning an award for the "UK Individual Contribution to Open / Source" in 2005 here are some links.
