The Joomla World Cup - Germany - Top of the Music Charts
As a child I would be glued to my radio every sunday night to hear the music single Top 40 countdown.
As an adult in the multimedia cd-rom business I would scramble to open the envelope for the monthly software sales charts.
If I had been in Germany then I would have been reading and listening to the work of "media control GfK International" which for 30 years has been providing the data for the official German Top 100 singles and album charts.
media control has for 32 years been the market leader in the supply of sales Entertainment data in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and recently Spain and claims to be "the worlds leading entertainment data provider".
Today they provide over 300 different charts each week ranging from books, films, games, DVDs, and TV through to advertising spend and analysis. In addition media control offer a wide range of commercial data and sales analysis services.
