The Joomla World Cup - Germany - Driving to Success

Written by Brian Teeman

joomla world cup germany - driving to successWow what a sporting day for Germany. First Sebastian Vettel won the F1 European Grand prix on the street circuit of Valencia and then the National football team destroyed England 4 - 1.

So for today's entry in the Joomla World Cup I decided to feature a German automative industry web site.

ATS is one of the worldwide leading manufacturers of light alloy wheels. If you are fortunate enough to drive an Aston-Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, or Porsche then you probably are driving on a set of four ATS wheels.

ATS first came to prominence in the late 70's and early 80's when it ran it's own F1 team although it was never particularly successful or able to achieve a podium finish.

Today it's sporting activities are concentrated in the FIA World Touring Championships.

The site itself is available in English, German and Polish and uses several extensions including RSFiles and Jevents.

About Brian Teeman

  • As a co-founder of Joomla! and OpenSourceMatters Inc I've never been known to be lacking an opinion or being too afraid to express it.

Despite what some people might think I'm a shy and modest man who doesnt like to blow his own trumpet or boast about achievements.

But it seems that no blog exists without an "About" page so rather than talk about what an amazingly great guy I am and list all the things I've achieved (and failed at) in life from my Cycling Proficiency Test in 1976 to winning an award for the "UK Individual Contribution to Open / Source" in 2005 here are some links.
