How did you get involved in Joomla?
One of my fellow students showed me Mambo and we built our first own company site with this CMS.

It's a bit funny story. My wife and I had the idea to build a regional portal web site for our city. For that site we created a companies directory component - SOBI. This first version was based on JAddresses. We shared this component with the Joomla! community. The reaction was really great and we got a lot of feature requests. So we decided to write a fully new component - SOBI 2. Since then it is part of our life. By the way, the regional site for which we've created SOBI, is still not ready ;-)
What one feature would you like to see in Joomla?
After I saw Joomla! 1.6 - nothing more :-D
What is the first extension you install in Joomla?
You don't want to believe it, but ... SOBI 2. And in most cases nothing more. I haven't created any other live site with Joomla! for a long time. All sites I create at the moment are different demo, test and development sites for SOBI. Otherwise we are using SOBI for nearly everything - download directory, manual, FAQ and even as a review or blog component.
